Instruction - Fitting the Fastnet Peel Sling

 

Fitting to a Fastnet Innovative Landing Net:

 

Remove the main lanyard by pulling the nickel-plated clip through the D-ring

attached to the cork or NPVC grip.

 

Ensure the velcro strap (on your peel sling) has been fed onto the correct end. 

See image "Instruction A" below.

 

Pass the nickel-plated clip on the short connection cord (supplied with your peel sling) through the D-ring attached on the cork or NPVC grip from the bottom upwards (towards the net bag) until the ball-end moulding catches on the D-ring.

 

Attach the nickel-plated clip to the peel sling o-ring.

 

Insert the long end of the Velcro strap through the o-ring attached to the landing net rim. See image "Instruction B" below.

 

Fasten the Velcro strap.

 

Adjust the lanyard buckle as required.

 

Slip into peel sling ensuring the velcro strip is at your right or left hand side.

 

 

Fitting to any other landing net:

 

Follow the instructions as above.

 

Please ensure you have an existing fixing ring attached to your landing net handle/grip. 

 

If no o-ring exists at the top of the landing net rim you must attach the Velcro

straps to the top of the landing net rim (see below).
